What current CFDIs have said about the curriculum and program:
Al Norris (PROVIDENCE-Specialized Investigative Solutions – MI), “Thank you for your time and effort on producing and then grading this line of study. I’m sure your effort in putting this together was massive.” *former homicide detective.
Charles Rafferty (Rafferty Investigations / Innocence Legal Team – CA), “It was an interesting subject matter to say the least. Thank you again for taking the time to bring this outstanding course to the table for all of us to take on this challenge. This distinguished honor is a pinnacle of my own career.”
Bob Wigley (Distinctive Investigations – FL), “I am extremely proud and somewhat speechless. You said from the very beginning that it was going to be a challenge and it was. I thank you for the opportunity. Thanks again for your hard work on putting this course together and accelerating the professionalism in our profession.”
Larry Warwick (LaW Consulting – WI and Deputy Coroner / D-ABMDI), “The course was intensive and time consuming, but it was well worth the effort. I appreciate all the hard work Karen and Dean must have had to do to put this course together.” *former homicide detective / active deputy coroner.
Mark Aubin (Top Gun Investigations – FL and licensed attorney), “Really enjoying the course. The subjective nature of the process is challenging and really fosters creative thinking, which reminds me of law school in many ways. You have created an incredible program. You are an amazing team and I can’t even imagine the time it has taken.”
Carol Twiss (Dedicated Investigations – TX), “Thank you! The course was informative, I will definitely send my guys through your training." *former chief of police and homicide / sex crimes detective.
Bill Losefsky (Investigative Concepts, LLC – NH), “The CFDI Death Investigation certification course provides a comprehensive compendium of forensic science, investigative techniques, and legal procedures involved in determining the cause and manner of death. The curriculum covers all the key topics such as autopsy protocols, crime scene analysis, forensic pathology, understanding a death certificate and toxicology. The instructors, Dean and Karen Beers are highly experienced and well credentialed professionals in the field. They have ensured that the content is both engaging and informative. This course is quite challenging, but the capstone project of completing actual cases is highly invaluable and fully prepares you to be a stellar performer in this field. I would unequivocally recommend this course for the professional investigator who wants a certification in forensic death investigation." *former law enforcement detective and police prosecutor.
Rick Luman (Criminal Defense Investigator - NV), "The CFDI Program is challenging, intense, and very rewarding. The program incorporates a variety of instructional methods to ensure a thorough understanding and skill development. The multiple-choice and essay-style questions at the end of each Chapter reinforce the video instruction. The program content is exceptional, applicable, and second to none. You want to challenge yourself and increase your investigative skillset. Apply and complete this course." *former law enforcement, and public defender investigator in NM, TX, and NV.
Tom Fischer (Thomas Fischer Investigations - WI), "The experience was very rewarding. I was surprised by the amount of information that I obtained through this course." *former homicide detective.
James Andrews (Magna Investigative Group - AL), "This course is greatly underpriced for the amount of information and knowledge provided! I've been proud to announce to my clients that I'm the newest member of the CFDI, and I couldn't thank Karen and Dean enough for their time and effort in putting this course together and all the time they spend grading and reviewing our tests and assignments. Greatly appreciated!" *former law enforcement narcotics investigator
